| do u mean spinning the planet its self or we stopped spinning around the sun? -planet itself- --instant-- anamals would be confused do to the magnetic poles reversing+instant volcanoes/earthquakes --gradual-- same thing cept slowlyier -the sun- --instant-- 1/2 planet would stop living basicly after a few days --gradual-- everything would die temporarly then 1/2 the planet would regrow (im not into this kind of stuff so idk if this is true but it does seem logical) (to me) |

| no lol. i'll make the question a bit more specific. the earth stops spinning on it's axis, but still orbits the sun. and since it's only hypothetical, say that it stops but inertia isn't taken into account (it's just as if it was never spinning). What would the consequences be? what would change? |
